Something we all need to Know!!!
Did you Know this is deadly to our health and we consume it all the time???

Sugar coated We're drowning in high fructose corn syrup. Do the risks go beyond our waistline?

An overweight America may be aware of fat and obsessed with carbs. But this is what the dietians are saying. The real problem is much sweeter -- we're swimming in sugar.
Not just any sugar, but high fructose corn syrup. I did a little research because i new the stuff wasn't good for me. But I didn't know the whole truth, so I am shareing what i found out.

Did you Know our country eats more sweetener made from corn than from sugarcane or beets, gulping it down in drinks as well as in frozen food and baked goods. Even ketchup is laced with it.
Look at everything you buy.. it's every where!!!

I'm sure you may have heard of HFCS? If you haven't, think about this fact. You or me, that is the average american eats 63 pounds of it a year. That would be about 228 extra calories a day. Until the 1970's most sweets were made with simple white sugar. I know your saying that's not good for me either. But here's the catch. You sated your sweet tooth, then your body would absorb the calories, then you would fill up pretty fast. But about 3 decades ago, foood manufacturers figured out a wayto make sodas, yogurts, and cerals and about 40,000 more manufactured foods taste sweeter, for much cheeper. Even ketchup has this stuff in it.

So this how it works, when we eat any type of carbohydrate (bread or fruit) your body releases insulin, it regulates your body weight- sending those carbs into your muscles to be used as energy or are stored for later use. then like a gas pump shut off mechanism, it suppresses your hunger. That's when the signal tells your body to stop filling, your tank is full.

The problem with HFCS is that it does not stimulate insulin, so that's why it's possiable to see people drink 2 liters of soda in one sitting. Thirty years ago it would have been an impossible task, but todays HFCS makes the same number of caloriesgo down and leave you hungary for more .

You don't need to stop this artifical food stuff entirely, but you need to make sure your meals don't revolve around it. So start by checking out thoughs food labels. Here's some pointers 1) if HFCS is in the top 5 on the ingredients list, then look at the chart onthe nutrrition label to see how much sugar they contain. If there's a gram or 2, it's fine. But if you see that it has 8 or more, that's a sign u should leave it on the shelf.

So I hoped you learned something because I sure did!!!
