Is your body trying to tell you something?

This morning, I woke with a stiff neck… I didn’t even know it until I turned by head to brush my hair and then - ouch! A stiff neck tells me (hmm) I am being inflexible. And I was. I had been planning my day to go a certain way - and it was not lining up to my expectations. Do you ever have days like that? You plan everything to order - and life does not work out the way you planned?

Our bodies do give us messages, but do we take time to listen? . What can we do? I came across these steps below to help…try it some time your body will thank U.

Stop The Stress
Go to a quiet place…. It could be a place in nature or a room at home. Find somewhere you can switch off the busy-ness of the day and simply be with yourself.
Breathe
To slow down further, take in a few deep breaths. Leave the negative behind with your out breaths. Allow yourself to feel the peace within you.
Be Quiet - And Listen
What is your condition telling you about your life and the way you are living? Are you taking care of yourself in the best ways, or do you need to be doing things differently? Be willing to not know and not have the answers. Not knowing seems to open the door to the understanding
Free Yourself

.... forgive the judgments - guilt, resentment, blame, shame, anger. Judgments cast a shadow over the spirit within you that can promote your healing.
Allow Time...
... for healing to take place. In this time, nurture yourself and do what it takes to nourish the spirit in you towards your greater health. Take time to simply rest.
Express Thanks...
... for the lessons learned and the healing that occurs.

Share more of your spirit that one other might find inspiration and encouragement on their journey. Have a party. The spirit in you is characterized by joy. Joy is contagious - a sign of good health.

We are all in the same boat and if we start learning from each other and sharing what we have learned with others, maybe we can get to where we are going faster.

Do you have an inspiring story you have experienced? What did you learn? How was your life bettered through a crisis? You never know when your story might spark courage in someone who could really could be helped by it.
