People of many Tastes…

A few words about why working in the food biz is so cool… I find it very interesting how many different people from all over the world work in the food bizz….So people say it’s because it is so labor intensive, and the pay isn’t always great. But cooking food is something all people have in common, all over the world….we all have to eat. And it’s amazing the things you learn from all these wonderful people, about food and traditions. To give an example my crew today consisted of folks from Italy, Bulgaria, Philippines, and me. We talked about what food was like when we grew up. Who cooked, what we ate…what a typical dinner was like at home. It was really fun…And the day went very smooth. Typical Friday, 2 parties over 200, it was quite easy, but we are all pro’s. Sat should be an easy day…. Only one group of 110 for dinner… cake walk…
