I feel pretty cool…
I spent part of this evening playing with my new ipod shuffle. The mister got it for my birthday, what a surprise!!! I put a few songs on it, works great. It’s amazing that this little thing is smaller than a pack of gum and it holds 240 songs. I’m still trying to figure out how people that have those crazy new ipods… fill up 15,ooo songs worth of space. WOW. I think I’m going to get new earphones..that are a little more comfortable for when I work out. But besides that the only thing I’m interested in is a sport caring case, to keep it dry. They also have these fm transmitters for the car. Pretty cool… if you ever have a chance to check out the apple site… it’s amazing all the gear that these little things have sparked. I wish I would have thought of all this stuff, Somebody is making some pretty pennies! Well I gotta go and play with my shuffle some more.... the newdance theipod shuffle!!!!

Another week... I made!!!
Thank goodness that's over with!!!! So today I decided not to go to work. I was to tired, I think sixty hours is enough to make anyone flake out...I talking more than just brain fry.

So today the construction zone I used to live has finally returned to normal after about 4 weeks! We cleaned and dusted and vaccumed EVERYTHING! We then put up our little tree, it's so cute!!! The stockings are hung, and the light are bright. We put on some christmas music, Greg got me The Charlie Browns Christmas soundtrack, because most of you know that's my favorite show at this time of year.

As we were putting up the Christmas tree and we look at our ordiments, it always reminds me of so many great stories. I'm not into tree's with all matching ordiments... what do those families talk about when they put up there tree? Or do they even talk, what a shame. They just don't know what there missing out on?
Things that make you go hmmm?

An addition to my sidebar....

Weekend in review....

It was a very exciting weekend... My sister Karen the soon to be Bride gathered all her bridesmaids, mother of the bride and groom. First it was bridesmaid dress shopping...it was definately exciting. I think we tried on every dress in the store before one was picked. It was like a marathon. Then afterthat we were famished and headed bak to Karen's for sanwiches and refreshments. Then on to wedding decorations, will all working hard we finished them in a couple of hours. Chit chatting and fun was had by all!!! In the meanwhile The Guys went to play a round of golf on a tough course. They arrived and then it was off to a light dinner, where we ate and chuckled quite a bit. On to check out a place for the rehersal dinner... it's really tough, there's not that many good options in J-ville. Back to Karens for some more visiting. Sunday came quick, we all met at church and everyone got to see Greg sing in the choir. After we headed out to the house of pancakes...Yummmy! Then back to Laura and Gregs for an early birthday celebration with all the works. Cake..Presents...decorations..and fun... Before we know it the family had to jet, it was time to head home. Thanks for coming up everyone, this weekend was a sucess. And thanks for all the goodies and presents too!!!

Do you ever wonder.......

Why do most people put more effort into their wedding than their actual marriage?

Why do dogs walk around in circles before lying down?

Can a metal plate in your head get rusted?

Do stuttering people stutter when they're thinking to themselves?

If the day before a holiday is called Christmas Eve, is the day after Christmas Adam?

Once you're in heaven, do you get stuck wearing the clothes you were buried in for eternity?

How come you can kill a deer and put it on your wall but it's illegal to keep them as a pet?

What do vegetarians feed their dogs?

Can someone give up lent for lent?

Why would Dodge make a car called Ram?

Why does a round pizza come in a square box?

Why is it when we duck they call us chicken?

Why is there a size 12-14, 14-16, 16-18, and so forth, but no 13, 15, and 17?

What did cured ham actually have?

If lava melts rock, wouldn’t the lava melt the volcano?

If a man has no fingers, can he press charges?

Why do people say, "you've been working like a dog" when dogs just sit around all day?

Can you write in pencil on an eraser?

How is it that we put man on the moon before we figured out it would be a good idea to put wheels on luggage?

Can crop circles be square?

Why are there pictures of the sun wearing sunglasses when the purpose of sunglasses is to protect your eyes from the sun?

And last ...this makes me go huh???

If you were born exactly on 12:00 midnight on December 31st – January 1st, which year would you say you were born in?

I had the weekend off!!!
That's right folks, I didn't have to work sat. or sun..... woohoo! So on sat. after Greg got done doing his cat sitting duties ( Karen and Joe went out of town for the holiday) for the day we washed and waxed the car, we have had it for almost 6 months. So now the scion is so pretty and shiny... the way all happy cars should be! Then after that we showered up, watched some cooking shows. Soon we were in the car and hit a little shopping spot, we needed to pickup up a few birthday items. Not for me even though I offered to help pick something out. Then Off to see the Polar Express at the IMAX theater at world golf village in St. Augustine. I saw the movie last year, and it was way cooler on a super jumbo screen. I recommend you see this one if you get the chance, not just for the kiddies but for all ages. It's awesome!!! Jumped back in the car after and grabbed a bite on the way home. On sun. We got up and went to church ( 1st weekend in Advent). Watched the Buc's lose...bummer. Talked to Mom on the phoe than out again. I caught up with a friend of mine, which was really nice. She's the pastry chef of one of Fancy Private Clubs in Jax. She's also doing Karen and Joe's wedding cake!!! So we hopped over to Karen and Joes and talked a little cake and such and so forth. Then we all went out for cocktails, and had a few appetizers. Then headed home...Fun was had by all. It's a shame I have to work tomorrow..oh well that's life. I hope everyone had a good weekend!!! Well gotta run....

Here's some of my thanksgiving photo's of work.

This way all you folks out in internet land can get an idea what it's like on a typical thanksgiving for someone like me. I had turkey for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The best part of all the food was the sweet potatos, Tim made them this year. He's our new Executive Sous chef, former Chef of the Seafoam( that's our fine dining resturant on property. He's from Georgia and he takes sweet potatoes very seriously. But we survived another holiday with flying colors So check out the photos!! there pretty neat, and might make you want something to eat. Thank goodness you don't have smellavision, for your sake.

This How our morning started out, helping pastry dip some strawberries into chocolate. But really my started out with some turkey sweat potatoes and some fixin's that what they call it here in the south. Posted by Picasa
